# Mohd Maaz Khan

## What I'm doing now

- **Research Intern** with Prof. Saurav Sengupta, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad (Oct 2025 – present):
  sparse regression for equation discovery (SINDy vs. ISINDy on the Lorenz system), a DeepONet
  surrogate for 1D diffusion, and Hamiltonian Neural Networks for a spring-mass system.

## Things I've built

- **Enterprise RAG System with LLM-as-a-Judge**: hybrid retrieval with automatic answer evaluation.
- **E-Commerce Customer Churn Prediction**: stacking ensemble, 96% accuracy, deployed end to end.
- **Inverse Heat Transfer with PINNs**: replicated a paper and converged ~10× faster.
- **Automated Email Classification Engine**: SVM spam filter with 0.97 macro F1.
